March 22 at the Asia Trader & Investor Convention 2008 (ATIC @ KL 2008) held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
One of the premier financial industry events organised by NextVIEW, ATIC @ KL 2008 was notably graced by guest of honour, Dato’ Yusli Mohamed Yusoff, CEO of Bursa Malaysia, along with several other distinguished guests from the financial industry.Attracting some 20,000 active retail and professional investors, ATIC @ KL 2008 showcased more than 50 companies and 60 specialised seminars and workshops conducted by over 45 renowned industry experts, including Daryl Guppy, Ray Barros, Brent Penfold, Dale Gillham and Collin Li Xin Jing.
In his welcoming address, Stephen Lai, CEO of Next- VIEW mentioned that ATIC’s mission is to create knowledge- based investors. “We believe this is a timely and important mission because there are many investors today who are still speculative in nature,” remarked Lai. “As experienced traders and investors will confirm, we can only be consistently successful if we are well-informed and knowledgeable,” he added.
