Kingsmen Secures Universal Studios Singapore Contracts Worth $59.5m
Kingsmen Creative, a leading communications design and production group in Asia Pacific and the Middle East, has been awarded two contracts worth a total of $59.5m by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte Ltd’s appointed main contractor, China Jingye Engineering. The two contracts are expected to be completed by October 2009 and will contribute positively to company’s FY09 results.

Riverstone Holdings Inks Agreement To Buy RM8.5m Worth Of Assets
Riverstone Holdings has, through its unit, Sinetimed Consumables, inked a sale and purchase agreement with WRP Sinetimed, to acquire certain property and fixed assets for approximately cash RM8.5m, as part of its expansion plans.

Noble Posts Record 3Q08 Performance
Noble Group, a global supply chain manager of agricultural, metals, minerals and ores, and energy products, has raked in record revenue and net profit of US$29.3b and US$438m respectively for its 3Q08 results. Revenue has jumped 87% while net profits shot up to 174%. Noble’s business strategy of having diversified business segments has been key in obtaining the significantly improved resutls.

Yongmao Establishes New JV With Tat Hong In PRC
Yongmao Holdings has, through its unit, Fushun Yongmao Construction Machinery, inked a MOU with Tat Hong Holdings to jointly establish a JV enterprise in PRC for the purpose of engaging in the business of rental of towercranes. The initial registered capital shall be Rmb20m with Yongmao holding 45%.

China Jishan Issues Profit Warning

DBS Bank and MasterCard Worldwide have launched an online money transfer service, “MasterCard MoneySendTM”, that allows DBS customers to make remittances to participating banks in five Asian Countries – India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand.
